Man Shot Following Argument Near Taco Stand in South Los Angeles
A man was fatally shot early Sunday following a dispute near a taco stand in South Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The incident occurred shortly before 2 a.m. at the intersection of Holmes and Slauson Avenues. Police reported that an argument broke out as the victim approached a vehicle, escalating into a shooting.
First responders attempted life-saving measures on the victim, who was in his 20s, but he succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The gunman fled in a vehicle, details of which have not yet been disclosed, and remains at large.
