Prime Video Unveils Trailer for ‘Kevin,’ an Adult Animated Comedy Featuring Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert
Prime Video has officially released the trailer for Kevin, the anticipated adult animated comedy series created by Aubrey Plaza and Joe Wengert. The show centers around a neurotic housecat named Kevin, who decides to break up with his human owners. Set to premiere on April 20, the series boasts an impressive lineup of guest stars, including Addison Rae, Joe Locke, Cary Elwes, Charles Melton, Nicole Byer, and many others.
In Kevin, after a sudden breakup with his human companions, Kevin—voiced by Jason Schwartzman—relocates to a local pet rescue in Astoria, Queens. There, he encounters a diverse group of misfit animals who assist him in discovering what he truly desires in life. Plaza voices Dana, one half of the couple Kevin leaves behind.
The series also features regular cast members such as Whoopi Goldberg as Cupcake, John Waters as Armando, and Aparna Nancherla as Judy—Kevin’s new feline roommates at the pet rescue. Gil Ozeri portrays Seth, the human managing the rescue, alongside Amy Sedaris as Brandi, his dog.
Plaza and Wengert serve as executive producers, with Wengert taking on the role of showrunner. The production team includes Dan Murphy, Chris Prynoski, Ben Kalina, Shannon Prynoski, and Antonio Canobbio. The series is produced by Titmouse, Evil Hag Productions, and Amazon MGM Studios.
All eight episodes of the inaugural season of Kevin will be available for streaming on Prime Video starting April 20.
