Ashley Tisdale Brings Back Her Beloved ‘High School Musical’ Outfits After 20 Years
Ashley Tisdale Celebrates Two Decades of High School Musical with Nostalgic Video Tribute
Ashley Tisdale marked the 20th anniversary of High School Musical with a heartfelt tribute that revisits her iconic role as Sharpay Evans. In a video shared on January 20, the Disney Channel alumna donned several of Sharpay’s most memorable outfits from the beloved franchise.
“20 years and two babies later, I’m still squeezing into these looks,” Tisdale wrote as she showcased her outfits in a video filmed within a storage unit. Her new take on Sharpay features a sleek, middle-parted auburn bun as she stepped out in a striking turquoise gown adorned with floral accents, similar to the one she wore in her performance alongside Lucas Grabeel in the original film.
As "Bop to the Top" played in the background, Tisdale demonstrated her fashion evolution by modeling a light pink tank top paired with a salmon plaid jacket and matching A-line skirt, along with her notable audition outfit from the first film—a silver sequined short sleeve jacket paired with a purple skirt.
Tisdale took a moment to reflect on her journey since the film’s debut, acknowledging her daughters, Jupiter and Emerson, with husband Christopher French. She shared a nostalgic photo set from the original movie, concluding with a loving note to her character: “20 years ago we had no idea what this would turn into. I love you, Sharpay. And let me just say… we’re still looking fabulous! 💖”
Tisdale was not alone in her reminiscence; fellow High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens, who portrayed Gabriella Montez, also paid tribute. Hudgens shared throwback photos featuring her former co-stars, expressing gratitude to fans who have supported them over the years: “I cannot believe HSM turns 20 today. Thank you to everyone who’s been there since day 1. We’ll always be in this together.”
