Ann Wilson Announces North American Tour to Accompany Documentary
Legendary singer Ann Wilson has officially announced a North American tour to promote her upcoming documentary, In My Voice. The tour will feature screenings of the film alongside Q&A sessions with Wilson and director Barbara Hall. Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive merchandise available only at these events.
Wilson, known as the lead singer of the iconic rock band Heart, is set to kick off her tour on May 11 in Seattle, concluding on June 1 in Boston. The itinerary includes stops in Vancouver, Chicago, Cleveland, Nashville, New York, and Toronto.
Tickets for the tour will first be available through a Live Nation pre-sale for select dates starting Wednesday, March 18, at 10:00 a.m. local time. A public on-sale will follow on Friday, March 20, at 10:00 a.m. via Ticketmaster and Wilson’s official website.
Last September, Wilson described In My Voice as a personal documentary chronicling her 75-year journey through life, drawing from a rich archive of home movies, photographs, journals, and never-before-seen footage. “This film is my story in my own words, told the way I’ve always wanted to tell it,” Wilson stated. “It’s about finding my voice, keeping it alive, and sharing the journey with the people who’ve been part of it all along.”
In a recent appearance on CNN, Wilson addressed the impact of AI-generated images circulating on social media that depict her and her family, expressing concern over the potential confusion these images cause among fans. She noted that some of these portrayals have been distressing and even damaging to ticket sales for Heart. “It’s hard to describe how cruel some of them are,” Wilson remarked, adding that despite her reports to Meta, no changes have been enacted.
