Andy Cohen Shares Thoughts on Nene Leakes’ Return to Real Housewives and Her Future in RHOA
Andy Cohen is celebrating two decades of The Real Housewives franchise, and one of the highlights of this milestone is the anticipated return of Nene Leakes to the Bravoverse.
Leakes, who previously filed and later dropped a lawsuit against the network, will reappear on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, marking her comeback to Bravo.
“We are celebrating 20 years of the Housewives. I can’t speak to that lawsuit, but it’s in the past. She was integral to the show and its success,” Cohen shared in an interview with Vulture. “As we looked back on 20 years, it felt like doing something with her would be really nice for the fans, and she really wanted to do it. It was very positive.”
With Leakes’ return, fans are speculating whether this could lead to her reintegration into The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Responding to this, Cohen noted, “You know what? We’ve worked so hard to get a cast on Atlanta that is cohesive and makes sense, and that we love and the fans love. We want to be at the level that Atlanta used to be, and we are finally there. That’s what I’m focusing on right now.”

Leakes is regarded as one of the most recognizable stars in Real Housewives history. Memorable moments from her time on the show have become popular GIFs on social media, with some fans even communicating exclusively through memes featuring her.
