Andy Cohen Reacts to Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Criticism of ‘RHOBH’: Here’s What He Said
Andy Cohen, the producer behind a franchise that champions outspoken women, has expressed his displeasure over actress Sarah Michelle Gellar’s recent criticism of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Gellar, known for her role in Ready or Not 2: Here I Come, described the show’s current Season 15 as “boring,” prompting a viral response from Cohen as fans rallied in support of Gellar on social media.
During an interview on Radio Andy, Cohen referenced Gellar’s remarks made on Page Six Radio. He recounted how Gellar had previously stated her affection for RHOBH before the critical comment, saying, “They post it. And it’s like, ‘Sarah Michelle Gellar hates the Housewives of Beverly Hills’ with all of this Radio Andy signage everywhere.” Cohen further expressed his frustration, stating, “Don’t bring someone into my studio to trash my show.”
Gellar affirmed her admiration for the show but maintained her perspective on the latest season, admitting, “I think it’s boring.” Many fans voiced support for her comments on social media, with one user tweeting, “andy cohen beefing with THEE sarah michelle gellar is insane, she has the right to her opinion.”

Andy Cohen makes a career off of thinking he can insult and control women and Sarah Michelle Gellar is NOT THE ONE.
She isn’t one of his housewives on his payroll that he thinks he can insult as he pleases. NO.
The season is boring. She’s right. Focus on fixing your show @Andy. https://t.co/fbQWdqsZKK

Elaborating on her thoughts about the cast, Gellar expressed her fondness for several members, including Rachel Zoe and Kathy Hilton, while suggesting the show’s pacing has been slow. “It’s just picking up now,” she noted. She further commented on new cast member Amanda Frances, saying, “I don’t think she’s polarizing, I just don’t think anyone enjoys her.” Gellar emphasized the need for transparency and engagement from cast members, stating, “If you choose to go on this show, then you have to be ready to open yourself up and be honest.”
As the Season 15 finale approaches, Real Housewives of Beverly Hills continues to spark conversation among viewers, with the reunion special having been filmed earlier this month. The show airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
