Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph Join Forces in Sci-Fi Survival Film ‘Homewrecker’ Directed by Xavier Gens
Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph Team Up for Sci-Fi Thriller ‘Homewrecker’
Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph are set to star in the upcoming sci-fi survival thriller Homewrecker, directed by renowned French filmmaker Xavier Gens. Gens is well-known for his work on hit series like Lupin and Gangs of London, as well as the Netflix film Under Paris.
The original screenplay, penned by Elisa Bell and Travis Gordon, centers on a dramatic domestic revelation that leads three Americans to work together amidst a terrifying, unexplained global event that threatens their very existence.
Producers have described the project as reminiscent of Paramount’s 10 Cloverfield Lane. Production is scheduled to begin in France in mid-July this year.
Denise Di Novi, Margaret French Isaac, and Oliver Scherick will produce for Di Novi Pictures, while John Zois and Warren Goz will produce for Parallel 42 Entertainment. Williams will also take on an executive producer role.
Additionally, Michael Rothstein and Samuel Hall will executive-produce for North.Five.Six, which plans to launch sales at the upcoming Cannes market. CAA Media Finance and UTA Independent Film Group are set to represent domestic distribution.
Williams recently starred in the box-office success Regretting You with Paramount Pictures, while Randolph has appeared in the popular Paramount+ series Landman and the box-office hit Scream 7.
“I found the script riveting, and it had a depth that continued shifting and revealing itself as I read,” Williams remarked. “Knowing Xavier’s work, I was very eager to work with this talented filmmaker. I’m grateful to be part of this team and this project.”
Randolph expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “I was immediately drawn to how Homewrecker blends psychological tension with something deeply character-driven. It has a kind of intensity and unpredictability that makes it such a compelling project. I’m so excited to be part of this with Allison and Xavier.”
Gens added, “I’m thrilled to explore American mythology from a uniquely intimate point of view. I can’t wait to share the set with Allison Williams and Michelle Randolph and push the boundaries of humanity further than I’ve ever gone before.”
