Ali Larter, 49, recently attended the 2026 Critics Choice Awards, where she discussed her role as Angela in the western drama Landman. While filming the second season, which is currently airing on Paramount+, Larter revealed that she collected some personal items from the set.
“I took the Leddy’s cowboy boots, and I have the Agent Provocateur bra from episode 7,” she shared, noting the luxury brands she pilfered. “What else did I steal from her? Oh, a good pair of Wranglers. I have some jeans—got to have them.”

The hit series, created by Taylor Sheridan, is inspired by the real-life oil boom in West Texas. It features Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris, an oil executive who navigates life alongside his ex-wife, Angela, played by Larter.
Since its debut in November 2024, Landman has quickly gained popularity. Shortly after the premiere of its second season, the series was renewed for a third season, which, according to Larter, will continue to explore the ups and downs of Angela and Tommy’s relationship.
“And then, as an actress, I’ll still be always searching for moments with my co-stars that are really grounded and real and that I can kind of dig into,” she said.
Larter noted that Sheridan has infused a strong family dynamic in season 2 while maintaining the essence of the show’s tone. “He knows when he wants Angela to come on and deliver a laugh, like a breath of fresh comedy,” she explained. “Then he moves into an intimate, dramatic scene with Jacob [Lofland] and Ariana [Paulina Chávez]. So I don’t think the formula’s going to change.”

In a previous interview, Larter described her role as Angela as a “freeing” experience. “Angela walks through life without the fear of judgment of others. She makes up her own rules,” Larter explained. “And for me, that’s so exciting to play, because I’m not like that.”
Despite the challenges of her character, particularly regarding wardrobe choices, Larter embraces the journey. “Anytime you have to put on a bathing suit and walk in front of anybody, it’s really difficult,” she commented. “When I look around, the sexiest women I know are the women that own it. There is no space in my mind for insecurity—I’m not allowing any of that into my space when I play Angela.”
