Age of Attraction Returns for a Second Season on Netflix
Netflix has officially renewed its latest dating series, Age of Attraction, for a second season. This announcement follows the show’s premiere just under a month ago, produced by Velvet Hammer Media.
The renewal comes as a rare beacon of hope in the television dating industry, which has faced challenges recently, including the shelving of The Bachelorette. Notably, Age of Attraction is the first new English-language reality series to secure a second season in nearly a year, following Million Dollar Secret‘s renewal last May.
Since its launch on March 11, Age of Attraction has attracted significant viewership, amassing 3.8 million views in its opening week and an additional 3.2 million in the following week. The series has also performed well globally, ranking among the top ten in 26 countries, including the U.S., UK, Australia, and Canada, while achieving the number one spot in Estonia.

The show is hosted by Nick Viall, who gained fame on The Bachelor and is joined by his wife, 27-year-old model and former surgical technologist Natalie Joy.
Interestingly, Age of Attraction is one of the few dating series created by women, specifically the founders of Velvet Hammer Media, Jennifer O’Connell and Rebecca Quinn.
Filming took place in Whistler and Vancouver, with O’Connell and Quinn serving as executive producers alongside Sam Dean and David Friedman.
“We love concepts that are impossible to look away from and Age of Attraction nailed that from day one. It’s messy, it’s real and that’s what makes it fun to watch,” O’Connell and Quinn stated. “Huge thanks to Netflix for embracing this dating experiment with us. The response has been incredible, and we’re excited to push it even further in Season 2.”
