Adam Scott Shares Exciting News About a Sooner Season 3 for “Severance” Fans
EXCLUSIVE: Fans of Severance can expect a shorter wait for Season 3 than they experienced for previous seasons.
During a recent appearance at the BAFTA TV Awards, where Severance was nominated for Best International Series, actor Adam Scott commented on the production timeline. “We’re always trying to shorten the amount of time between seasons, but it’s more important for it to be great than for it to be fast,” he stated.
Scott further assured fans that the new season will premiere much sooner than the three-year gap leading up to Season 2, which he described as “too long.”
Scott addressed fan concerns directly, stating, “We’re definitely planning on getting it [Season 3] out much sooner than the last round, which was 3 years and that’s too long.” #BAFTATVAwards pic.twitter.com/ivPK4fEmU8

Scott, who plays Mark Scout in Severance, revealed that shooting for Season 3 will commence “very soon,” but declined to disclose any plot details regarding the employees of Lumon Industries. He remarked, “The only thing about telling more is it would be a bummer,” referring to potential spoilers.
Season 2 of Severance emerged as Apple’s most-watched series at that time and secured an impressive 27 nominations at the 2025 Emmys, ultimately winning eight awards.
