A Man’s Heartfelt Search for His Lost Emotional Support Dog, Lexi, in Montclair
Emotional Support Dog Missing in Montclair
A Pomona man is anxiously searching for his emotional support dog, Lexi, who has been missing since April 1. Robert Dominguez, who faces challenges with depression and anxiety, lost his dog accidentally while visiting his sister’s house in Montclair.
Dominguez took Lexi to his sister’s home so someone could care for her while he was at work. Unfortunately, when his mother stepped outside to dispose of trash, Lexi was inadvertently let out and has not been seen since.
"Losing her has been devastating," Dominguez shared. "She’s everything I have, and I always look forward to seeing her when I come home from work. She helps me regulate my emotions."
According to Dominguez, Lexi is not just a pet; she plays a crucial role in his daily life. "She motivates me to get out of bed and engage with the world," he explained. "Lexi helps me be active."
In the weeks following her disappearance, Dominguez has expressed profound distress and has taken steps to locate Lexi, including distributing flyers throughout the Montclair area. "If anyone knows where she is, or if someone has her, please let me know," he pleaded. "I miss her a lot."
Lexi is described as a blonde dog with a pink nose, featuring a small bump on the lower left side of her body and a loose bottom tooth. Anyone who recognizes her is encouraged to call 323-696-0406.
