Lil Wayne has made it clear that his children hold immense significance in his life. The renowned rapper and record label executive is a father to four children: daughter Reginae and sons Dwayne, Kameron, and Neal, each with different mothers—Antonia "Toya" Johnson, Sarah Vivan, Lauren London, and Nivea.
Throughout the years, Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr., has been actively involved in his children’s lives, attending various sporting events and red carpet appearances, while frequently expressing his love for them on social media platforms.
"Important ain’t even the word. That’s life," Lil Wayne remarked during a 2023 episode of All the Smoke when discussing the importance of his children. "Like you need food to live, that’s just how it goes. I didn’t have a father, and it’s not easy to do something that wasn’t done for you, but I figured it out. I’m at the age now where it isn’t a challenge no more. Their love cancels all the challenges out."
Lil Wayne has also consistently expressed his admiration for the mothers of his children. In 2009, he stated in an interview, "the mothers of my kids are great."
His children’s journeys, from their childhoods to memorable moments with their father, highlight a bond rooted in love and support.

Reginae Carter was born on November 29, 1998, when her father was just 16 years old. Although Lil Wayne and her mother, Toya Johnson, married in 2004, they divorced two years later.
In a light-hearted interview with PEOPLE in June 2024, Reginae humorously mentioned that her dad was still "in diapers" when she was born. She reflected on her upbringing, stating, "Growing up, I’ve always had this thing where it’s like, I’m not getting pregnant yet. So I feel like dating for me, looking at my parents, I’m a little scared."
Reginae credits her father with teaching her resilience. "My father has told me to keep that tough skin and don’t let nobody or nothing play with you or make you feel like you’re less than," she shared.
Reginae, a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, has ventured into modeling and entrepreneurship while also appearing on reality television. She has had roles in films such as Dear Santa, I Need a Date, Pride and Prejudice: Atlanta, Growing Up Hip Hop Atlanta, and T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle.
She also took part in a campaign for Savage x Fenty in 2020, sharing her excitement: "When they first hit me up, I was like, ‘Me?!’ First of all, I love Rihanna. That’s the first person that I’ve ever fan-girled over and cried over."
