A Guide to Securing Tickets for the LA28 Olympics
2028 Olympics Events Schedule Announced
LOS ANGELES – The eagerly awaited 2028 Olympics will commence with an opening ceremony on July 14, 2028, and conclude with a closing ceremony on July 30, 2028. Notably, the first medal will be awarded in the triathlon event in Venice on the inaugural day of the Games.
As part of the preparations, registration for the ticket draw for the LA28 Olympics will open on January 14. This process marks the initial opportunity for fans to secure a time slot for purchasing tickets to the Games across all sports.
While registration does not guarantee ticket availability, it is a crucial first step in a lottery-style system designed to offer fans a fair chance to buy passes. The price for single tickets will start at $28, with a range of pricing and seating options set to be available for individuals and groups interested in attending.
Residents in the greater Los Angeles area, along with those from the Oklahoma City region, will receive special early access opportunities for the ticket draw.
In addition to general tickets, LA28 will also offer curated ticket-inclusive hospitality experiences and packages, which are expected to go on sale next year. Fans interested in these premium options must also register through the LA28 ticketing website.
The ticketing process will be managed by AXS and EVENTIM, LA28’s official ticketing service providers. Tickets for the Paralympic Games, scheduled later in 2028, will be available starting in 2027.
As the countdown to the 2028 Olympics begins, excitement continues to grow among potential attendees and local residents alike.
