A Close Look at Venus Williams’ Stunning Bridal Style During Her Multi-Day Wedding to Andrea Preti

Venus Williams has formally tied the knot with actor Andrea Preti following two wedding ceremonies— the first held on September 18 in Ischia, Italy, and a second courthouse ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, on December 19, according to Vogue.

During the Florida ceremony, Williams showcased a stunning Morilee New York gown. In her interview with Vogue, she recounted that she had initially requested just one dress, but the designers responded by creating ten custom gowns. "The dress I ended up wearing was just divine," she shared. For her departure from the ceremony, she opted for a more understated outfit, featuring a classic short skirt and top, complemented by a chic headpiece.

In preparation for the home wedding celebration, Williams donned an exquisite gown designed by Georges Hobieka, along with Messika jewelry. "I wanted to wear a gown that Andrea would love and one that captured the essence of the Florida wedding we were creating," she explained to Vogue.

Preti expressed his admiration, recalling the moment he first saw his bride. "When I saw Venus, she was beautiful, like a goddess," he stated. "I was crying and happy."

Williams had sought to try on her dress ahead of time but faced challenges due to the unavailability of a sample. In a memorable moment, she recounts rushing to Paris during Fashion Week just to catch a glimpse of her gown. "It was crazy, but somehow we made it work," she remembered. "The way it sparkles, the transparency—it reminds me of the ocean and sea."

Throughout her nuptials, Williams wore multiple bridal looks from notable designers, including Natali & Meital, Veni Infantino, and Eve of Milady.

In the lead-up to the weddings, Venus’s sister, Serena Williams, offered her support in planning. She detailed her involvement during a podcast launch, mentioning that Venus had requested assistance with numerous dresses and hairstyles. "She wanted literally 14 hairstyles— and she was like, ‘What do you think?’" Serena recounted.

Engaged since January 31, after a romantic proposal in Tuscany, Venus and Andrea had been spotted together in Italy in July 2024, marking the beginning of their public relationship. The couple has maintained a low profile, although glimpses of their bond have occasionally surfaced on social media. Venus shared a selfie from a Bahamian vacation, referring to Preti as "the best company."
