Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce recently wrapped up their trip to London, and details emerged during a recent episode of the podcast New Heights. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared insights about their visit, which included a range of cultural experiences.
In the episode released on Wednesday, May 13, Kelce’s cohost and brother, retired Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, humorously noted, “I found out you were in London on the internet, that was fun.”
“London is fun, Jason,” Travis responded enthusiastically. “For the most part, [we] had some really good food and enjoyed some plays.”
Fans spotted the celebrity couple attending the West End production of Romeo & Juliet on May 7, featuring Sadie Sink, who also starred in Swift’s VMA-winning short film for “All Too Well (10 Minute Version).” Kelce remarked, “Saw Sadie Sink and — I believe Noah Jupe is his name. He was f–king phenomenal as Romeo. Sadie was phenomenal as Juliet as well.”
Travis also praised a meal at an Indian restaurant, prompting Jason to tease him about being a picky eater. “Taylor has gotten you out of your comfort zone more than I ever did,” he said, later adding, “You didn’t like food before you started dating Taylor.” Travis quickly retorted, “Bogus.”
Swift’s fans, or “Swifties,” expressed their delight on social media after numerous photos emerged of the couple during their London escapade. The pair also reportedly attended Poppy Delevingne’s 40th birthday celebration before heading back to the United States.
After recounting their trip, Travis welcomed guest Colin Jost to the podcast for a conversation about life with high-profile partners. “As two guys who are also of the plus-one fraternity, how nice is it to be the less famous person in your relationship?” he asked Jost, who is married to Oscar-winner Scarlett Johansson.
“Huge relief,” Jost replied, eliciting laughter from both Travis and Jason. “It’s really funny, because I think I’m probably approached more, because she’s less approachable. She’s almost so famous that they don’t believe it sometimes.”
Travis detailed his trip to London further while chatting with Jost, sharing more insights into their experiences abroad.
