ProSiebenSat.1 Has Sold Studio71, Its U.S. Creator Business, to Fixated
ProSiebenSat.1 Media is divesting its North American creator business, Studio71 US, in a sale to Fixated. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.
The sale encompasses all entities operating under the Studio71 US brand, while the Studio71 operations in German-speaking regions will remain under the control of the Unterföhring-based group.
Founded in 2011 as Collective Digital Studio, Studio71 US has been a part of ProSiebenSat.1 since 2015, when Collective Digital Studio merged with the German-focused Studio71 to operate under a unified brand.
The agreement was reached on Friday and was finalized today, with the deal supported by Eldridge Industries, which provided Fixated with $50 million in funding last December.
Together, the two companies represent over 1,000 creators across various social media platforms, including popular names such as Dhar Mann Studios, Joey Graceffa, Tyler Oakley, Unspeakable, Lazarbeam, and Matteo Lane.
Operating an extensive content creator network and podcast business in North America, Studio71 ranks among the top 10 podcast networks in the U.S. The company assists creators with social media management, video content syndication, production, and monetization, generating revenues of €246 million ($290 million) in fiscal year 2025.
Fixated aims to bridge traditional entertainment infrastructure with the evolving creator economy, offering comprehensive solutions in talent management and content production. This strategy helps creators expand their reach, diversify revenue sources, and enhance their businesses through brand partnerships and multichannel strategies.
This move is part of ProSieben’s broader strategy, which includes selling several operations in recent years as the company seeks to reposition itself as a digital-first leader in Europe.
