Mindy Cohn Undergoes Secret Cancer Treatment, Shares Recovery Update
Mindy Cohn, known for her role in Facts of Life, is recovering after secretly undergoing cancer treatment. The actress, who successfully battled breast cancer in 2017, recently spent time in a hospital in Santa Monica for her latest recovery.
In a heartfelt post on Instagram, Cohn expressed gratitude to the medical staff who assisted her during this challenging time. She noted that she had taken a break from social media to focus on her health, stating, “Have been off social media for awhile ‘cuz I had to go kick cancer’s ass.” She specifically acknowledged the exceptional care provided by her nurses Finja, Patty, and Courtney, as well as her oncology surgeon, Dr. Anton Bilchik. Cohn also thanked her family for their unwavering support, referring to them as her advocates during this journey.
As she continues her recovery, Cohn remained optimistic, saying, “Recouping for another couple of weeks and then ready for my next adventure. Onwards! F**K Cancer!”
Previously, Cohn was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012, a battle she publicly revealed after successfully overcoming the disease in 2017.
