Jelly Roll Discusses Weight Loss Journey and Its Impact on Intimacy

In a heartfelt interview, Jelly Roll revealed the profound motivations behind his significant weight loss, with a key factor being the desire to enhance his intimacy with his wife, Bunnie Xo.

During a recent episode of the Joe Rogan podcast, posted on December 10, the country artist became emotional while reflecting on how his battles with food addiction and obesity had affected his relationships, particularly with his family. “I’d done nothing but lie to them for years about this weight,” he shared, his voice trembling. “I’d never proved to them that I was gonna change.”

Jelly Roll described the moment when he recognized the extent of his addiction’s damage to his family. “How much my sex life with my wife was horrible. Dude, I married a big-tittied, blonde, beautiful woman, dog … and I couldn’t even get aroused, I was so big,” he noted, emphasizing the personal stakes of his struggles.

Adding a touch of humor, he recounted the challenges he faced, saying, “I was having to play Twister to have sex. Left foot here, right foot on the X. Are we in there yet? Tell me if you feel something.”

The CMA Award winner has been open with fans about his weight-loss journey, which has seen him shed nearly 300 pounds. In 2024, he participated in his first-ever 5K, and by April, he reported a loss of approximately 200 pounds.
