In “Trouble,” Morgan embraces her rebellious persona while sporting an “I Heart Trouble” T-shirt. The music video features scenes of her setting a car ablaze, disrupting a game of pool, and getting a tattoo.
“Trouble, trouble, that’s me/ Cherry lips and bad energy/ Say it once, say it twice and I’ll give it to you all night,” she sings in the chorus.
The video transitions to a gritty parking garage where Morgan, surrounded by dancers in black outfits, strikes poses that evoke the vibe of the Pussy Cat Dolls’ “Buttons” video.
Amid the chaos, police intervene, leading to Morgan’s arrest. Even while battered and bloodied, she remains unfazed, sporting a devious smile as her mugshot is taken.
As she prepares for her eighth WrestleMania, Morgan exemplifies a calm demeanor in both music and wrestling.
“I feel like since I’ve come back from my injury, I’m very much just trying to stay in the moment and be present,” she shared during an April 9 interview with Insight With Chris Van Vliet. “Obviously, WrestleMania is heavy on my mind, but I’m not feeling any anxiety or pressure yet. I’m just kind of taking everything day by day and just preparing as best as I can. So no, I don’t feel pressure right now in this moment.”
Though she has explored music before and attended Coachella recently, Morgan aims to further her artistic endeavors. She expressed her desire for a remix of her theme song featuring Drake and Sabrina Carpenter, stating, “My dream remix of my song… I’d like a collaboration between Sabrina Carpenter and, like, Drake, if they could come together and do some, like, cool remix of my song, I think that’d be pretty good.”
Fans can look forward to watching Liv Morgan battle Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship at WrestleMania 42 on Saturday, April 18. The event will be broadcast live on the ESPN App for U.S. viewers with ESPN Unlimited plans and will stream on Netflix for international audiences.
