A New Japanese Steakhouse and Izakaya Set to Open in Beverly Hills in 2027
Noble 33 to Open New Japanese Restaurant Concept in Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills is set to welcome an innovative dining experience in 2027, as global hospitality group Noble 33 prepares to launch a unique restaurant that combines two culinary concepts. The establishment will occupy the ground floor of the prestigious Rosewood Residences Beverly Hills.
The 12,000-square-foot venue, located at 9900 S. Santa Monica Blvd., will feature a Japanese steakhouse alongside an izakaya, a traditional Japanese pub. This initiative marks Noble 33’s first foray into Japanese-inspired cuisine, led by co-founder and CEO Mikey Tanha and Tosh Berman, head of the company’s in-house design team.
“The Japanese steakhouse concept invites guests to explore the often-overlooked world of Japanese steak in addition to its beloved sushi counterpart, while the sister izakaya concept captures the energy of Tokyo’s back-alley izakayas with a focus on small plates and ramen,” the company stated in a press release.
The design of the restaurant promises to be anything but minimalist. Patrons can expect a vibrant interior featuring a central bar, an open sushi counter, and quieter areas that evoke a ceremonial ambiance. Bold decorations, including samurai armor and curated weapon displays, will characterize the space.
Berman expressed enthusiasm about the design opportunities presented by the large venue, stating it allows his team to “fully execute the design vision and create something unlike any other Japanese restaurant in the city.”
Tanha detailed that guests can look forward to a menu that offers Noble 33’s interpretation of Japanese dining, characterized by the precision and immersive experience typical of their steakhouses.
Noble 33 currently operates several acclaimed establishments, including Casa Madera in West Hollywood and Toronto, the Mexican-inspired Toca Madera in Scottsdale, Las Vegas, and Houston, as well as the Italian-inspired Sparrow Italia in London and Miami. The group also boasts the Mediterranean-themed Medüza Mediterranea in New York and 1587 Prime in Kansas City, created in collaboration with Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl champions Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.
