CYRIL has officially entered the Fortnite universe with a newly announced emote.
The Aussie producer and DJ, known for his innovative remixes, has joined the “Icon Series,” introducing an emote that features his updated version of The La’s ’90s indie hit “There She Goes,” set to be released in 2025.
Hailing from regional New South Wales, CYRIL, whose real name is Cyril Riley, has established himself as a notable remixer. He achieved significant recognition in 2024, landing three tracks in Spotify’s Australian Music Global Impact List, including a top position with his remix of Disturbed’s “The Sound Of Silence,” along with remixes of “The Door” by Teddy Swims and “Fall at Your Feet” featuring Dean Lewis.

His breakout single “Stumblin’ In,” which samples the late ‘70s song by Suzi Quatro and Chris Norman, has garnered over 746 million plays on Spotify. The track reached the ARIA Top 40 and received two nominations at the ARIA Awards, including Song of the Year.
In the previous year, he released a four-track EP titled This isn’t what you think it is, featuring the song “I Got Love,” which includes contributions from the late Nate Dogg.
CYRIL’s entry into the Fortnite scene comes shortly after the release of his latest single “That’s Her,” a collaboration with hip-hop veteran Wiz Khalifa. This marks his first song release for 2026, with ambitions to increase his presence in both Europe and North America.
He has a series of tour dates lined up across Continental Europe in the coming weeks, including performances at events such as Tomorrowland Winter, Luxembourg Open Air, and Tomorrowland.
The new dance emote aligns with the tempo of surrounding “Jam Tracks,” allowing players to join in. Fortnite players have until 11:00 am local time on March 26 to secure the “There She Goes” Icon Series emote, which is applicable in Battle Royale, LEGO Fortnite Odyssey, and the LEGO Fortnite Brick Life events.
