This weekend, Disneyland introduced its latest additions to the Disney family, welcoming puppy sisters Bluey and Bingo for the debut of the new Fantasyland Theatre experience, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever!”
The attraction officially opened to the public on Sunday, featuring not only new Bluey merchandise and themed food items like a pizza-baked potato and magic asparagus pretzel but also a performance that showcases a live band. This musical experience brings to life popular songs from the beloved children’s series produced by Ludo Studio and BBC Studios, which airs on Disney Channel and Disney+ in the U.S.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” includes new arrangements of the iconic music originally composed by Joff Bush. A five-piece band—comprised of guitar, drums, saxophone, trombone, and melodica—will perform alongside a group of singers and dancers. Bluey and Bingo will also engage the audience in a lively dance party featuring upbeat tunes.
Chelsea Stevens, music producer for Disney Live Entertainment, expressed her excitement: “The energy our musicians bring to ‘Bluey’s Best Day Ever!’ is truly incredible. Music is such a vital part of every Bluey episode, and I’m thrilled for our guests to hear it for real life with a five-piece band leading new musical arrangements of the iconic Bluey soundtrack.”
During a press preview on Saturday, Billboard Family witnessed an enchanting acoustic rendition of “I Know a Place (The Creek Song),” featuring cast members gracefully moving across the stage with tree and butterfly props. The event also included an extended version of the show’s familiar theme song, with live performers showcasing their instrumental talent.
Other highlights of the preview included a live game show hosted by Unicorse, the famously cheeky unicorn puppet, which pitted one of the cast members against Bluey and Bingo.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever!” is now officially open at Disneyland Park, located at the Fantasyland Theatre.
