Demi Moore Wows in a High-Slit Wrap Dress Featuring a Unique Ribbon Detail
Demi Moore graced the red carpet at the premiere of her latest film, I Love Boosters, during the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Texas, on March 12. The actress showcased a striking Saint Laurent wrap dress that turned heads with its vibrant color scheme and bold silhouettes.
In I Love Boosters, Moore portrays Christie Smith, a billionaire fashion designer entangled in a storyline involving deception and creativity. Directed by Boots Riley, the film features Keke Palmer as a "booster" who resells luxury items while challenging the ethics of Moore’s character, who has a controversial history of appropriating Black artists’ ideas.
Moore’s eye-catching gown, styled by Brad Goreski, featured a deep violet hue and a plunging V-neck that accentuated her figure. The dress was cinched at the waist with an oversized orange bow, complemented by a smaller bow on her shoulder. Strappy heels adorned with cherries echoed her manicured red toenails, while chunky gold jewelry completed her enchanting look. Her hair, returning to its long, straight form, framed her face with elegance.
Earlier in the day, Moore attended Diane von Furstenberg’s Academy Awards Luncheon for Female Nominees, donning a unique dress designed to resemble an ensemble made entirely of belts.
Reflecting on her role at the film’s premiere, Moore expressed her surprise at being cast in a project directed by Riley. "It came my way and first I would say, ‘Wow, I didn’t know that I would be thought of as cool enough to be part of a Boots Riley film!’" she stated. "It was just a character that I wouldn’t have thought of for myself and it gave me this incredible place to play and take a risk and do something different."
As audiences eagerly await the film’s release, Moore’s stunning appearance and the film’s provocative themes continue to generate buzz in the entertainment industry.
