Meghan Markle Shares Sweet Moment of Princess Lilibet’s Voice During Beach Day Together
Meghan Markle Celebrates International Women’s Day with Rare Family Moment
On March 8, Meghan Markle marked International Women’s Day by sharing a touching photograph of herself alongside her daughter, Princess Lilibet. The image, which captures the duo snuggling on a beach, was taken by Prince Harry, affectionately referred to by Meghan as "Papa Sussex" in her Instagram caption.
Accompanying the photograph, the Duchess of Sussex also shared a brief audio clip of Lilibet’s voice, bringing an added layer of intimacy to the post. In the Instagram Story, Lilibet can be heard animatedly speaking as the sound of ocean waves rolls in.
Meghan expressed her hope for her daughter’s future with a heartfelt message: “For the woman she will one day be. Happy International Women’s Day.” The post is significant, as Markle has been notably selective in showcasing her children’s faces and voices on social media.
Since rejoining Instagram on January 1, 2025, Meghan has maintained a degree of privacy regarding her children, often keeping their appearances to a minimum. In a previous appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, she remarked that both Archie and Lilibet have inherited an intriguing aspect of Harry’s British heritage—his accent, particularly evident in the way they pronounce certain words like "zebra."
“Some of the words that they still say with a British accent… they have these little moments where it comes out,” she reflected. Meghan added that while her children generally speak with American accents, they exhibit charming British inflections.
In a light-hearted exchange, Meghan noted the differing pronunciations of the word "herb." She explained that she pronounces it with a silent ‘h’, a quirk that often amuses Harry. Despite the family’s multicultural backdrop, Meghan acknowledged that Archie and Lilibet predominantly use American pronunciations, especially in cooking terms, indicating that Harry is less involved in the kitchen.
As the world celebrates International Women’s Day, Meghan’s posts resonate deeply, highlighting not only her personal life but also her commitment to empowering the next generation.
