Leigh-Anne Expresses Interest in Collaborating with Manon and Normani
Trending on Billboard
Leigh-Anne Pinnock has expressed interest in collaborating with fellow artists Manon Bannerman and Normani in the future. In a fan video shared on social media, Pinnock was asked about potential collaborations and enthusiastically replied, “Me, Manon and Normani, yeah? Fire.”
This disclosure gains significance following a recent announcement regarding KATSEYE, the group of which Manon is a member. On February 20, KATSEYE shared that Manon would be taking a temporary hiatus “to focus on her health and wellbeing,” as stated in a message from HYBE and Geffen via the group’s Weverse community.

In a message about Manon’s hiatus, KATSEYE stated, “After open and thoughtful conversations together, we are sharing that Manon will be taking a temporary hiatus from group activities to focus on her health and wellbeing.” The statement emphasized the group’s support for Manon’s decision and highlighted their commitment to their fans while continuing scheduled activities during her absence.
Hours after the announcement, Manon reached out to fans through Weverse DMs, assuring them: “I’m healthy, I’m okay, and I’m taking care of myself. Thank u for checking in! Sometimes things unfold in ways we don’t fully control, but I’m trusting the bigger picture.”
Leigh-Anne, who released her debut solo album My Ego Told Me To on the same day as Manon’s announcement, showed her support through social media. In response to a fan mentioning that she, Manon, and Normani had followed one another on Instagram, she stated, “We need to protect each other.”
The intersection of Leigh-Anne, Normani, and Manon’s careers is notable, given that all three are the sole Black members of their respective girl groups—Little Mix, Fifth Harmony, and KATSEYE. This dynamic has ignited ongoing discussions among fans about representation, visibility, and industry pressures.
Leigh-Anne gained international recognition with Little Mix, formed through The X Factor UK in 2011, which has secured multiple U.K. No. 1 albums and Billboard-charting singles. Normani rose to prominence in Fifth Harmony, whose 2016 track “Work From Home” reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 before the group went on hiatus in 2018. KATSEYE, created through HYBE and Geffen’s The Debut: Dream Academy, has rapidly garnered a global following since its inception.
