Jordan Goldnadel Starts New AI Animation Company, AiSpasia Studios
Producer Jordan Goldnadel Launches AI Animation Firm AiSpasia Studios
Producer Jordan Goldnadel has announced the launch of AiSpasia Studios, an innovative AI animation company based in New York. The firm aims to pioneer the ethical and artist-driven use of artificial intelligence in animation.
Goldnadel intends to explore how AI tools can enhance creativity while safeguarding artistic authorship, labor integrity, and human storytelling. “We want to use those tools responsibly and ensure fair compensation for human collaborators,” he stated.
“The future of animation doesn’t belong to machines; it belongs to the artists who learn how to wield them,” Goldnadel emphasized. He affirms that AiSpasia exists to bolster creative independence rather than undermine it.
The studio’s inaugural project, Léon in New York, is being touted as one of the first fully AI-animated series. It quietly debuted on YouTube, amassing nearly one million views to date. The series features Léon, a French bulldog who relocates from Paris to New York in pursuit of his dream to craft the finest baguette in Brooklyn, with new episodes released weekly.
Goldnadel remarked, “The question isn’t whether AI will exist in animation. It will. The next challenge is how we choose to use it. When production becomes more accessible, more stories can be made, ultimately creating greater opportunities for artists. Our mission is to build models of production where human creativity remains central.”
Goldnadel is recognized for his work on notable film projects, including the 2023 Cannes entry Riddle of Fire and the 2017 Tribeca title Thirst Street.
