Anaheim’s OC Vibe Introduces Six Exciting New Bars and Lounges at Katella Commons
ANAHEIM, Calif. – In an exciting development for the local community, officials have announced plans for six distinct bar and lounge concepts to be included in the OC Vibe mixed-use project near the Honda Center. This announcement marks a significant milestone for the ambitious OC Vibe initiative.
The new drinking establishments will take shape within Katella Commons, a substantial 50,000-square-foot market hall currently under construction. This facility will be situated underneath the Weave, a mass-timber office building that serves as a focal point for the sprawling 100-acre district surrounding the arena.
Katella Commons will not only feature the six bars but will also host 21 chef-driven kitchens, promising a diverse culinary experience. Acclaimed Chef Rémi Lauvand, recognized for his work in prestigious New York and Parisian kitchens, has been enlisted as a consultant to ensure exceptional quality in the food and beverage offerings.
Among the announced concepts are Bar Bacchia, Vesper Lounge, Barrel Bar, and Rea’s Ranch, which showcase a variety of themes, from wine cave-inspired tasting bars to modern European-style cafes.
Nick Pacific, Vice President of Katella Commons Operations, articulated the social vision of the project. "Katella Commons is intended to be the gathering place for Anaheim," he stated. "Every kitchen, bar, and lounge within the OC Vibe district is intentionally designed to encourage discovery and give guests the freedom to experience the space and the food in their own way."
Chef Lauvand echoed the modern consumer’s ethos, emphasizing the demand for transparency in food and drink preparation. "People today care deeply about how their food and drinks are made," he explained. "They want to understand ingredients, sourcing, and technique, and they’re excited to ask questions and try things themselves."
Looking ahead, the project will advance into the interior build-outs for the kitchens and beverage concepts. As construction progresses, officials at OC Vibe are expected to unveil further details regarding chef partnerships and specific menu offerings for this innovative space.
