New Romantic Film ‘Seekers of Infinite Love’ Featuring Hannah Einbinder, Justin Theroux, and Greg Kinnear Set for EFM Release
Protagonist Pictures Acquires International Sales Rights for SXSW-Bound Comedy Seekers of Infinite Love
Protagonist Pictures has secured the international sales rights to the upcoming comedy Seekers of Infinite Love, set to debut at the South by Southwest (SXSW) festival next month. The film will also be available for purchase at this week’s European Film Market.
The movie features a star-studded cast, including Emmy winners Hannah Einbinder, known for her role in Hacks, and Justin Theroux from The Leftovers. They are joined by Oscar nominee Greg Kinnear, John Reynolds of Search Party, Griffin Gluck from American Vandal, and Justine Lupe of Succession.
Directed by Victoria Strouse, whose prior work includes Finding Dory, this film marks her feature directorial debut. The narrative centers on three estranged and dysfunctional siblings—a claustrophobe, a compulsive gambler, and a controlling lawyer—who must unite to rescue their sister from a doomsday cult. As they navigate the South with an unpredictable cult deprogrammer, they rediscover their bond.
Seekers of Infinite Love is produced by Limelight, known for Roofman and Palm Springs, in collaboration with Temple Hill Entertainment, recognized for their work on Twilight and Maze Runner.
Producers for the project include Dylan Sellers and Chris Parker, representing Limelight, along with Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey from Temple Hill. The film also features executive producers Hannah Einbinder, Alexa Faigen, Nicole Flores, Hal Sadoff, Patrick Gogerchin, Tyler Zacharia, and Gabby Zemer.
Victoria Strouse expressed her excitement about the film’s journey, stating, “It‘s an indescribable thrill to have this film finally come to fruition, and knowing that its first audience will be at SXSW is a dream come true. I knew—going into production—how fortunate I was to be making this movie at all. And that included being able to work with the actors I cast.”
The production team echoed her sentiments, praising Strouse’s script. “Victoria has written a script that manages to be both hysterically funny and heartbreakingly human,” they noted. “Seekers of Infinite Love balances big laughs with big feelings, and the cast delivers in a way that makes the film both distinctive and relatable.”
George Hamilton, Chief Creative Officer of Protagonist Pictures, highlighted the film’s appeal, calling it “a wildly smart comedy with a fearless point of view and a beating heart at its core.” He expressed confidence that following its SXSW premiere, the film will resonate with audiences worldwide.
