Apple TV Announces Premiere Date for ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ with New Cast Members Brandon Flynn and Murray Bartlett
Apple TV’s ‘Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed’ Set to Premiere on May 20
Apple TV is gearing up for the launch of its latest series, Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, which will debut with its first two episodes on Wednesday, May 20. New episodes will follow every Wednesday through July 15. The ensemble cast includes notable actors such as Brandon Flynn (13 Reasons Why) and Murray Bartlett (The Last of Us, The White Lotus), although details about their specific roles remain undisclosed.
Created by David J. Rosen, the dark comedy thriller centers around Paula, portrayed by Tatiana Maslany, a newly divorced mother who descends into a world of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer. As she grapples with a custody battle and an identity crisis, Paula believes she has witnessed a crime and embarks on an investigation that could reveal a larger conspiracy—one that may ultimately help her restore her family and reclaim her sense of self.
The supporting cast features Jake Johnson as Paula’s ex-husband Karl, Jessy Hodges as Mallory, Karl’s sharp lawyer and new wife, Jon Michael Hill as Detective Baxter, Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg as Geri, a fact-checker at a prestigious New York publication, and Nola Wallace as Hazel, Paula and Karl’s daughter. Dolly De Leon rounds out the cast as Detective Sofia Gonzalez.
This 10-episode series, each running for half an hour, is produced by Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios. In addition to Rosen as writer and executive producer, David Gordon Green serves as director and executive producer, alongside Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon for Genre Films under their first-look deal with Apple TV, and Bard Dorros from Anonymous Content.
