Jonah Hill Embraces a New Look with Bald Head and Beard for His Role with Keanu Reeves and Cameron Diaz

On Tuesday, February 3, Apple TV released images featuring Jonah Hill, 42, alongside Keanu Reeves, Cameron Diaz, and Matt Bomer from Outcome. In the images, Hill showcases a striking look with a bald head and silver beard. One image captures him placing his hand on Reeves’ shoulder on a Hollywood film studio lot, while others depict the cast sharing smiles on a bed.

The official synopsis describes the film’s main character, Reef Hawk, portrayed by Reeves, as a Hollywood icon since childhood who is struggling. “When he learns about an extortion plot tied to a mysterious video, Reef preemptively sets out on a redemption tour to make amends, confront his demons, and avoid getting canceled,” it states.

The cast includes Hill as Reef’s crisis lawyer, Ira, while Diaz and Bomer play his lifelong friends. A supporting cast of notable figures includes acclaimed director Martin Scorsese, Susan Lucci, Laverne Cox, David Spade, Roy Wood Jr., Kaia Gerber, Ivy Wolk, and Atsuko Okatsuka.

Outcome marks Jonah Hill’s third directorial effort, following his previous films Mid90s (2018) and the documentary Stutz (2022). His last acting role was in the 2023 film You People. At a press event on February 2, Hill described the film as “a metaphor for what we all go through living on social media.” He emphasized, “Social media has made us obsessed with what people we don’t know think of us, instead of caring about what the people who know us best think of us.”

Cameron Diaz added her perspective on the film at the same press event, stating, “It’s an interesting commentary about celebrity and how it functions in our society and what’s expected. We live in a world now where celebrity is accessible to anyone. Anybody can be famous. It’s no longer famous for 15 minutes; it’s famous for 15 seconds.” She raised concerns about society’s obsession with fame, stating, “It’s a value in our society that I think we should all sort of take a look at because it might not be the best thing for our health.”

Reeves and Diaz were first reported to star in the film alongside Hill in March 2024. Diaz’s last role was in the 2025 Netflix film Back in Action, marking her return to film after over a decade. Photos from the set in Los Angeles, featuring all four actors, surfaced in May 2024.

Outcome is set to premiere on Apple TV on April 10, with Hill also slated to release another film, Cut Off, co-starring Kristen Wiig, on July 17.
