Kim Kardashian, a prominent figure in the fashion industry, recently shared insights into her sneaker obsession on an episode of *Complex*’s *Sneaker Shopping*, aired February 2. The Skims mogul revealed her admiration for Travis Scott’s Nike sneakers and her willingness to reach out to him for access to his latest releases. Scott is the former partner of Kim’s half-sister, Kylie Jenner, and the couple shares two children.
Kardashian describes herself as a sneaker “snob,” asserting that she is selective about the silhouettes she prefers. Among her favorites are Scott’s Nike designs, which she enthusiastically praises.
“I’d say the most shoes I have are Travis’. Every colorway, the pinks that just came out — I’m not that girl to call in family favors,” she stated. “I just don’t, [but] I had to call to get the Travis pinks. I call and then they show up.”
She refers to the highly sought-after Travis kicks as part of the *Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 Low OG “Pink Pack,”* which is expected to be available in May. In addition to her sneaker collection, Kardashian is also launching her footwear line, featuring the Skims x Nike Rift Mesh, set to debut on February 5.
The ballerina-inspired shoes were introduced as part of the *NikeSKIMS Spring ’26 Collection*, which showcases BLACKPINK’s Lisa as the campaign’s face. Kardashian expressed her excitement about having Lisa represent the brand. “We got my dream person, which is Lisa from BLACKPINK,” she said. “She’s such an amazing dancer, she’s so beautiful, she’s so talented. I love her style and we shot it in Paris in the most beautiful space.”
Kardashian further noted the artistic styling of the campaign, explaining, “She transitioned wearing all black and she dips down and she’s wearing all pink… I thought it was just really clever to use those two colorways and use Lisa.”
