In a recent interview with Esquire for their March cover story, A$AP Rocky shared heartfelt reflections on fatherhood. The acclaimed artist, known for his work on the track “Don’t Be Dumb,” spoke animatedly about his three children: son Riot, 2, son RZA, 3½, and daughter Rocki, who is just 4 months old.
Rocky, who partners with Rihanna, revealed details about his children’s distinct personalities, noting that while all three are blessed with his looks, RZA tends to be a picky eater, whereas Riot has a notable sweet tooth. “Man, I miss my kids,” Rocky expressed. He recalled how RZA used to dominate interactions with Riot when he was younger: “RZA’s finally starting to stick up for himself again… Now Riot goes and takes that boy’s book from him, takes his pacifier.”
He observed, “RZA doesn’t be talking. That’s Riot. He can’t stop running his mouth.”

Rocky also recounted an amusing moment when his son inadvertently alerted Rihanna to his departure from the house without notice. “He was like, ‘Dada left. Dada left through the door,’” Rocky recalled, narrating Rihanna’s response. “She told me, ‘You left?’ I’m like, ‘Yeah, why?’ She said, ‘Because our son told me you left. It’d been nice to say goodbye.’”
During their first Christmas as a family of five, Rocky and Rihanna dressed in matching pajamas, but Rocky jokingly insisted that the photos would remain private, describing the notion as “cringe.” He stated, “That ain’t me. [The kids] gon’ know the difference… Ma dukes got to get thrown under the bus.”

In a recent appearance on The Ebro Show, Rocky discussed the impact of fatherhood on his emotional landscape, particularly after becoming a girl dad. “Man, being a girl dad, bro, it’s made me so vulnerable. I’m born again,” he stated, describing the profound connection he feels with his daughter. “When she looks at me, I just melt inside.”
He added, “Like, I’m already in love with her mother, so I’m falling in love all over again.”
