Ashley Tisdale and Haylie Duff Share a Playdate Following Mom Group Tensions

Haylie Duff’s recent Instagram posts have fueled speculation regarding her relationship with sister Hilary Duff. The actress shared a charming photo of a playdate involving her child and Ashley Tisdale’s kids, highlighting their playful interactions.
“Under table shenanigans,” Duff captioned the candid moment.
This comes on the heels of a controversial essay published by Tisdale in The Cut. In her piece, she criticized a “toxic” group of mothers, which has drawn speculation from fans about its members, including Hilary, Mandy Moore, and Meghan Trainor. “I thought I found my village. Instead, I was back in high school,” Tisdale wrote. “Even though it had been decades since 10th grade, the experience of being left out felt so similar.”
Tisdale went on to share a lesson learned through the experience: “Here’s the hard-earned lesson I hope you’ll take to heart: It’s not the right group for you. Even if it looks like they’re having the best time on Instagram.” She later clarified that she was not specifically referencing the group that includes Duff, Moore, and Trainor.
At the time, Haylie Duff, who is rumored to be estranged from Hilary, liked Tisdale’s Instagram post about the essay.
In response, Hilary’s husband, Matthew Koma, humorously criticized Tisdale’s magazine cover on his own Instagram. “When You’re The Most Self Obsessed Tone Deaf Person On Earth, Other Moms Tend To Shift Focus To Their Actual Toddlers,” Koma mockingly captioned.
While the social media exchanges stirred up public interest, Hilary remained largely silent about the incident, focusing instead on promoting her upcoming album, Luck… or Something, set for release this February. Meghan Trainor also addressed the situation on TikTok, sharing her reaction to the emerging “mom group drama” alongside her song “Still Don’t Care.”
