Netflix Introduces Exciting New Turkish Content Featuring Yavuz Turgul’s ‘To Love, To Lose’
Netflix is significantly expanding its presence in Turkey with a new lineup of original shows, including the highly anticipated To Love, To Lose from renowned writer Yavuz Turgul.
To Love, To Lose centers on Kemal, a formidable figure in a loan shark family, who confronts Afife, a struggling scriptwriter and restaurant owner, over an outstanding debt. Their encounter leads them to explore unexpected emotions, challenging their understanding of love and honor. The cast features İbrahim Çelikkol, Emine Meyrem, and Yasemin Kay Allen.
This series is part of a trio of new offerings from Netflix Turkey, which also includes Seni Tanıyorum, written by Tuğba Doğan, and Sonra Gözler Görür, penned by Ece Yörenç.
The expansion comes as Netflix gears up for a noteworthy year in Turkey, highlighted by the adaptation of Orhan Pamuk’s award-winning novel The Museum of Innocence, set to premiere on February 13. The streaming service recently released a first look clip of the series.
Additionally, Netflix will unveil the second season of Berkun Oya’s Ethos, a third season of Ece Yörenç’s Thank You, and the concluding season of Nuran Evren Şit’s Another Self. The slate also includes Money Trap: The Karun Treasure, the latest in the popular Money Trap series.
This week, Netflix announced a variety of new programming not only in Turkey but also across MENA, Poland, and Korea.
