Burglars Target Actor Troy Garity’s Home in Los Angeles
Break-in Reported at Actor Troy Garity’s Home
Masked intruders targeted the Los Angeles-area residence of actor Troy Garity over the weekend while he was away, according to a report by the LAPD.
The break-in occurred around 8 p.m. on Saturday when three men, wearing ski masks and gloves, accessed the home through a rear glass sliding door. They promptly fled the scene in a getaway vehicle, leaving behind an alert triggered by the intrusion.
As of Tuesday afternoon, it remains unclear whether any items were stolen, and no arrests have been reported in connection with the incident.
Garity, 52, is the son of renowned figure Jane Fonda and activist Tom Hayden, and is recognized for his roles in the "Barbershop" film series and HBO’s "Ballers." His work also includes appearances in films such as "Bandits," alongside stars Bruce Willis, Cate Blanchett, and Billy Bob Thornton, as well as "Soldier’s Girl," for which he received a Golden Globe and Independent Spirit Award nomination.
Notably, Garity shared the screen with his mother and grandfather, Henry Fonda, in the classic 1981 film "On Golden Pond."
