Taylor Sheridan’s The Madison: Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell’s Series Hits Paramount+ with a Shorter First Season and Season 2 on the Horizon
New Series ‘The Madison’ to Premiere on Paramount+ in March
Paramount+ has announced the premiere date for Taylor Sheridan’s latest series, The Madison, set to debut on March 14. The family drama features prominent actors Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, and the platform has released first-look images to generate excitement. The inaugural season will consist of six episodes, a departure from Sheridan’s typical 10-episode orders for previous series like Yellowstone and Mayor of Kingstown.
While the six-episode format marks a reduction in length, sources indicate that The Madison has already been granted a second season, suggesting confidence in its success.
Described as Sheridan’s most intimate work, The Madison explores themes of grief and human connection. The narrative unfolds in both Montana and Manhattan, focusing on the complexities of familial relationships.
In addition to Pfeiffer and Russell, the cast includes Beau Garrett, Elle Chapman, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Kevin Zegers, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Matthew Fox.
The series is brought to life through a collaborative effort by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. Executively produced by Sheridan alongside Glasser, John Linson, Art Linson, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari, Christina Voros, Michael Friedman, Pfeiffer, Russell, and Keith Cox, The Madison promises a gripping exploration of its central themes.
