David Letterman’s ‘My Next Guest Needs No Introduction’ Season 6 Kicks Off with MrBeast, Michael B. Jordan, and Jason Bateman
David Letterman is set to return with Season 6 of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction on Netflix. The former late-night host recently interviewed Adam Sandler, known for his role in Jay Kelly, in a special episode airing on December 1. However, this episode does not belong to the upcoming season, which will officially launch on December 16.
This new season follows Netflix’s announcement in the summer that it had renewed My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman for both Seasons 6 and 7. The upcoming season will feature interviews with notable personalities, including Michael B. Jordan from Sinners, internet sensation Jimmy Donaldson—better known as MrBeast—and producer Jason Bateman, star of Black Rabbit.
The format for Season 6 mirrors that of Season 5, consisting of three episodes. Historically, the series has experienced varied episode counts, with Season 1 featuring six episodes, Season 2 five episodes, Season 3 four episodes, and Season 4 returning to six episodes.
Previous seasons have welcomed esteemed guests such as Barack Obama, Tina Fey, Jay-Z, Robert Downey Jr., Dave Chappelle, Miley Cyrus, and Billie Eilish.
Produced by Jax Media and Letterman’s Worldwide Pants Inc., the series has a dedicated executive production team. This includes Tom Keaney and Mary Barclay for Worldwide Pants, along with Justin Wilkes, Michael Steed, Isabel Richardson, and Yolanda T. Cochran for Jax Media/Imagine Entertainment.
