Nick and Vanessa Lachey Celebrate Daughter Brooklyn’s 11th Birthday at Disney
Nick and Vanessa Lachey commemorated their daughter Brooklyn’s 11th birthday with a surprise trip to Disney. The couple, known for hosting Love Is Blind, shared moments from their family outing on Instagram, capturing the joy of their three children during the special day.
In a heartfelt post, Vanessa expressed her love for Brooklyn, affectionately referring to her as "Belly B." "Spontaneous Disney Day is ALWAYS a great idea!" Vanessa wrote. "Perfect day celebrating our special gal turning 11! We LOVE our Belly B… more than words can ever express! 1/5/15 ♥️💫"
In addition to Brooklyn, the Lacheys are proud parents of two sons, Phoenix, 9, and Camden, 13. Nick, in a previous interview, has emphasized the importance of being a united front in parenting. "It’s important to be united. You never want your kids to be mad at one parent and then find reprieve with the other," he explained.
He further highlighted the value of consistency in parenting: "I think that’s what kids crave — consistency. As long as you are consistent and you’re on the same page, you’re going to be all right."
In a 2024 interview, Vanessa shared a fundamental parenting principle that guides their family. "The one thing that we’ve always agreed on is that we will always, always let our children know how much we love them," she said. Reflecting on her upbringing, Vanessa noted the significance of constant affirmation, both verbally and physically, stating, "Especially after a disciplinary moment, our kids need to always know they’re loved."
As their children grow up in a digital age, Vanessa also mentioned in an exclusive March 2024 interview that her kids will not be allowed on social media for the time being. She shared, "I actually signed a pact when I was on the mainland with the school that we wouldn’t let our kids have phones until they were in sixth grade."
The couple navigates the challenges of parenting in the public eye while emphasizing the principles of love and consistency within their family dynamic.
