Miley Cyrus and Maxx Morando Celebrate Their Engagement After Four Beautiful Years Together

Miley Cyrus has exciting news for her fans. After four years together, the pop star is engaged to musician Maxx Morando. This announcement came on Tuesday, December 2, following their appearance on the red carpet at the Avatar: Fire and Ash premiere.
During the film screening in Los Angeles on December 1, Cyrus made a striking debut with a new gold band on her left ring finger. The next day, People confirmed that this ring symbolized their recent engagement.
This milestone comes four years after Cyrus and Morando began dating in 2021. “We got put on a blind date,” Cyrus shared in a 2023 interview with British Vogue. She added, “Well, it was blind for me and not really for him. I thought, ‘The worst that can happen is I leave.’”
The couple has also collaborated musically, with Morando contributing to Cyrus’s recent albums, Endless Summer Vacation and Something Beautiful. In a recent performance at the Spotify Billions Club concert in Paris, Morando joined Cyrus on stage, playing guitar.
Cyrus has a previous marriage to Liam Hemsworth, with whom she had a tumultuous relationship beginning in 2009. The couple married in 2017 but separated the following year.
In a 2024 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, Cyrus discussed the dynamics of her relationship with Morando. “He’s very similar to me,” she explained. “We just don’t take life too seriously.”
