Lady Gaga recently spoke candidly about her fiancé, Michael Polansky, during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The renowned singer shared an endearing detail about her partner, emphasizing her affection for him.
When Colbert prompted her to name her "favorite smell" as part of the show’s signature segment, "The Colbert Questionert," Gaga did not hesitate to respond: "Michael’s neck." This heartfelt admission caught the attention of viewers, prompting Colbert to turn to Polansky, who was off-camera, to ask why this particular scent resonated with Gaga.
In response to Colbert’s inquiry whether Polansky wears cologne, Gaga interjected, clarifying, “No.” She expressed her aversion to cologne, stating, “I actually don’t like cologne,” and labeled it as her “least favorite smell.” The singer reiterated her preference against “just strong cologne… not for me,” showcasing her personal taste.

The couple, who confirmed their engagement during the 2024 Paris Olympics, have drawn attention for their affectionate relationship. During the event, Gaga referred to Polansky as "my fiancé" while attending a swimming competition alongside French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal.
Gaga and Polansky first sparked romance rumors in early 2020 when they were photographed sharing a kiss at a New Year’s Eve party in Las Vegas. The two soon went public with their relationship during a Super Bowl weekend in Miami, where Gaga shared a photo on Instagram of them together on a yacht, expressing their enjoyment of the trip.

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple spent significant time together, isolating at Gaga’s Malibu home. A source revealed in April 2020 that they were enjoying a low-key lifestyle, dining in and ordering takeout while the world buzzed around them.
In a recent conversation on Good Morning America, Gaga reflected on how she realized Polansky was “the one.” She remarked, “He just loves the whole me,” encapsulating her deep affection for her fiancé.
