Critics Choice Awards Announce Nominees
The 31st Annual Critics Choice Awards, hosted by Chelsea Handler, will take place on January 4, with a live ceremony airing on E! and USA Network from the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
Leading into the night, Sinners has received the most nominations, totaling 17. The awards celebrate the best in film and television, as selected by critics.
Handler’s return marks her ongoing association with the event, as critics gather to acknowledge standout performances of the year. This year features the introduction of four new categories: Best Variety Series, Best Stunt Design, Best Casting and Ensemble, and Best Sound.
When nominations were revealed on December 5, Sinners not only led in films but also set a high bar for expectations. Meanwhile, Netflix’s Adolescence topped the television categories with six nominations.
For a complete list of nominees and live updates throughout the ceremony, viewers are encouraged to stay tuned.
