Mickey Rourke Given 3 Days to Settle $59,100 in Unpaid Rent or Move Out

Mickey Rourke allegedly owes nearly $60,000 in past-due rent for his Los Angeles home, according to a complaint filed on December 29. The actor was served a notice on December 18 that required him to pay the outstanding amount or vacate the premises within three days.

According to the court filing, Rourke, 73, whose real name is Philip Andre Rourke Jr., failed to respond to the notice, which had been posted at the property and mailed to him when he was unavailable to receive it.

Rourke began leasing the property in March 2025, starting with a monthly rent of $5,200, which was later increased to $7,000. Goldie’s lawsuit seeks the back rent of $59,100 alongside attorney fees and seeks to terminate the rental agreement entirely.

Attempts to reach Rourke’s representative and Goldie’s attorney for comment were unsuccessful. According to Zillow, the nearly 1,600-square-foot home features three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, described as a “nicely upgraded Spanish bungalow” complete with an open floor plan and a backyard.

This rental dispute comes shortly after Rourke’s controversial exit from the reality show *Celebrity Big Brother UK*, during which he pursued legal action over an alleged pay dispute. His manager, Kimberly Hines, expressed concerns about the treatment he received on the show, claiming it publicly embarrassed him and failed to fulfill payment obligations.

“There’s no question that when *Big Brother* booked Mickey Rourke, they were fully aware of both his public persona and how it aligned with his Hollywood rebel image,” Hines stated, adding that the show’s producers knew they would attract considerable attention from his involvement.
