Film Nominees Announced for 63rd ICG Publicists Awards – The International Cinematographers Guild (ICG) unveiled the film nominees for its 63rd Publicists Awards this morning. Competing for the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Motion Picture Publicity Campaign are teams behind several notable films, including Sony’s 28 Years Later, Lionsgate’s The Housemaid, Netflix’s KPop Demon Hunters, Walt Disney Studios’ Lilo & Stitch, Paramount’s Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Warner Bros’ Sinners, and Universal’s Wicked: For Good.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on March 13 at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, positioned the Friday before the Academy Awards.
Earlier, in December, the ICG also revealed nominations for the Maxwell Weinberg Award for Television Publicity Campaign among several other categories for the same awards. Nominees for the television category include teams behind Netflix’s Stranger Things 5, Nobody Wants This, HBO Max’s The Pitt, CBS’ soap opera Beyond the Gates, Disney+’s Andor, and Hulu’s The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox.
The awards honor IATSE Local 600 publicists, unit still photographers, and outstanding publicity campaigns in both television and film, along with recognizing the year’s top entertainment journalists. Nominees for additional awards, including the Les Mason Award for Career Achievement in Publicity and Publicist of the Year categories, were also announced.
During the previous iteration of the awards, the 62nd ICG Publicists Awards held in February, the teams behind Universal’s Wicked and Disney+’s Agatha All Along won the top prizes in their respective categories.
Recently, it was announced that Jimmy Kimmel will receive the President’s Award at the 2026 ceremony, a rare honor reserved for extraordinary circumstances. Kimmel, the long-time host of ABC’s late-night show, will be the first recipient since 2017 and only the fifth in the 21st century. More honorary award recipients are yet to be announced.
