Zendaya’s Stylist Shares a Special Touch in Her ‘Something Blue’ Outfit at ‘The Drama’ Premiere
Zendaya Dazzles in Couture at The Drama Premiere
Zendaya made a striking appearance at the premiere of The Drama in New York City on April 2, captivating onlookers in a breathtaking Schiaparelli couture gown. The design featured a strapless sweetheart neckline, a sheer black corset embellished with vibrant blue feathers, and a mermaid skirt with tiered layers adorned with matching blue detailing at the hem.
The accomplished actress enhanced her ensemble with exquisite Tiffany & Co. diamond jewelry, which included a 10-carat sapphire ring, a second blue-stone ring, and coordinating dangling earrings.
Her longtime stylist, Law Roach, shared an intriguing detail via Instagram regarding Zendaya’s footwear—bluebird Schiaparelli heels that boasted realistic eyes and a beak at the tip of the pointed-toe silhouette, adding an unexpected flair to her look.
Zendaya, known for her expert sartorial choices, complemented the striking gown with bold blue eyeshadow accentuated by a hint of silver in her waterline, alongside long lashes, bronzed cheeks, and pink lips. Her brunette pixie cut was styled neatly with side-parted curls.
As she promoted The Drama, where she stars alongside Robert Pattinson as Emma Harwood revealing secrets before their wedding, Zendaya paid homage to the traditional bridal saying about “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.” She began with a vintage Vivienne Westwood bridal gown originally worn at the 2015 Oscars, followed by a custom Louis Vuitton dress featuring a stylish black bow at the back. For her borrowed item, she donned an Armani Privé dress lent by Cate Blanchett, boasting a plunging neckline and cowl waist.
Zendaya’s appearance at the premiere not only showcased her fashion-forward sensibility but also added a layer of nostalgia and elegance to the evening.
