Zendaya Commends Tom Holland and Hints at Exciting Moments in ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’
Zendaya stars in The Drama and will co-star alongside Tom Holland in the upcoming film Spider-Man: Brand New Day, set to release on July 31, 2026.
With recent teaser clips from Sony Pictures generating excitement for the superhero film, Zendaya expressed her admiration for Holland, saying, “Tom is so talented, and he’s so great. And he cares so much. I think people will not be disappointed.”

Zendaya will reprise her role as MJ in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, directed by Destin Daniel Cretton and written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers. The film also stars Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink, and Liza Colón-Zayas.
In the meantime, Zendaya is set to premiere in The Drama on April 3, 2026, where she plays Emma Harwood, a bookstore clerk about to marry Charlie Thompson, portrayed by Robert Pattinson. Their relationship faces turmoil just days before the wedding when unsettling truths come to light.
The A24 film features a cast that includes Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates, Zoë Winters, and Anna Baryshnikov. Produced by Ari Aster and Lars Knudsen through their Square Peg banner, the film also sees involvement from Borgli and Tyler Campellone under Dilemma Films, in collaboration with A24.
