Limited Edition Culinary and Cultural Events This March
Los Angeles, CA – A series of unique culinary and cultural events are set to take place in Los Angeles throughout the month of March, featuring collaborations between prominent brands and artists.
Bar Mauro at The West Hollywood Edition will host a takeover on March 5-6. Recognized as the 14th best bar in North America by North America’s 50 Best Bars list, Mexico City’s Bar Mauro will be showcasing innovative aperitifs and mixology from 6 to 9 p.m. This collaboration promises a blend of exquisite drinks and a vibrant atmosphere.
Following this, from March 6-8, Levain Bakery will join forces with lifestyle brand Montauk General to present a limited-time matcha and cookie milk offering. This special treat combines Montauk General’s signature matcha with cookie milk derived from Levain’s white chocolate macadamia cookies, topped with salted sweet cream and cookie crumble. Starting at 10 a.m. each day, this unique creation will be available at Levain locations in Beverly Hills, Venice, and Larchmont.
On March 7, the Compton artist and criminal justice advocate, Wash, will celebrate the release of his new book Artists in Space with a community barbecue. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the book and participate in a discussion with contributors, including Patrisse Cullors and Evan Pricco.
Additionally, Bar Lubitsch will commemorate its 20th anniversary on March 7 with a refreshed cocktail menu focused on vodka-based drinks. Guests can enjoy live music and performances from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.
Nike Re-Create will host a series of free design workshops through March 7, promoting creativity through activities such as screen printing, yoga, and incense holder-making.
Artist Renée Levin will live paint a mural at Malibu Beach Inn from March 7-10, capturing the beauty of a morning glory inspired by her experience after local fires.
On March 8, Skirball Cultural Center will host a family-friendly event celebrating Persian Jewish culture with a variety of activities, including a traditional tea service and live performances. The annual Los Angeles Marathon will also take place on the same day, with runners traversing from Dodger Stadium to Century City, followed by post-marathon festivities provided by fashion brand Represent.
The Maybourne Beverly Hills will offer a special residency with skincare expert Adeela Crown, featuring a range of acclaimed treatments until March 22.
Throughout March, Make March Matter is a citywide initiative benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles, encouraging local residents to support the cause through various activities and events.
Lastly, new retail experiences have emerged in the city, with Feature opening at The Shops at Sportsmen’s Lodge and Sanctuary launching its first physical store on Beverly Drive.
