Miley Cyrus takes the lead in this week’s New Music Friday, marking a nostalgic return to the sounds of her past. This is not a flashback to 2006; it’s a celebration of the 20th anniversary of her iconic Disney Channel series, *Hannah Montana*.
With her new single “Young You,” Cyrus presents a mature and heartfelt contemporary ballad that reflects on reconnecting with one’s inner child. This evolution of Hannah’s sound showcases her growth as an artist.
RAYE also delves into complex emotions in her latest sophomore album, *This Music May Contain Hope*. The album features 17 tracks, including the lead single “Where Is My Husband,” and boasts collaborations with notable artists such as Hans Zimmer and Al Green, alongside personal contributions from her family.
Charlie Puth, who recently performed the national anthem at the Super Bowl on February 8, unveiled his new album *Whatever’s Clever!*. This collection includes collaborations with Coco Jones, Ravyn Lenae, and Hikaru Utada. Additionally, Swedish pop icon Robyn released her album *Sexistential*, while alt-pop artist Melanie Martinez launched her eagerly awaited LP, *Hades*.
