One Injured in Crash Between Truck and Car in Encino
A collision between a truck and a car in Encino on Tuesday left one person hospitalized and resulted in a dramatic water release after a fire hydrant was sheared off. The incident occurred around 3:47 p.m. at the intersection of Hayvenhurst Avenue and Calneva Drive, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The crash led to a significant outpouring of water, flooding the street and sending jets of water into the air. Witnesses reported that the force of the impact caused the truck to overturn.
