Venus Williams took to Instagram today to unveil a new series of engagement photos, marking a significant moment in her personal life. "Engaged 1/31/25💫," the celebrated tennis star captioned her post, offering fans a glimpse into her happiness.

Williams, who announced her engagement to Andrea Preti in July, shared never-before-seen images from their celebratory portrait session. In the newly released photos, Williams wears a white Prada halter dress while posing alongside Preti, an actor and producer. Despite the engagement occurring nearly a year ago, the couple chose to keep the news under wraps until several months later.

The 45-year-old tennis icon first sparked engagement rumors in February when she was spotted wearing two diamond rings on her left hand. Following her first singles match in over a year during the Mubadala Citi DC Open, Williams confirmed her engagement during a post-match interview.

"I’m engaged to Andrea," she said, expressing gratitude for his support in her tennis career. During the post-match conversation, former tennis star Rennae Stubbs remarked on the positive change in Williams’s demeanor, asking how Preti has helped her during this period.

Williams couldn’t contain her joy, noting that Preti’s encouragement has been pivotal as she returns to the sport. "My fiancé is here and he really encouraged me to keep playing. There were so many times where I just wanted to coast and kind of chill," she shared. "He encouraged me to get through this and it’s wonderful to be here."

The couple has been linked romantically since last summer, and Williams’s comments reflect a deep bond as they navigate both personal and professional challenges together.
