Two Arrested in Counterfeit Merchandise Operation in Downtown Los Angeles
Two individuals were apprehended during an operation conducted by the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Major Crimes Unit in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday morning. Law enforcement officials confirmed the arrests to NBC4 Investigates.
Authorities executed a search warrant targeting counterfeit luxury goods within a building in downtown Los Angeles. The operation began around 5 a.m. when LASD detectives and investigators entered the premises located near the intersection of 6th and Main streets.
As the investigation proceeds, Main Street is closed to traffic between 6th and 5th Streets. The situation remains under active investigation, with further details expected to emerge as authorities gather more information.
